• Great work on JOTA this year, great to hear so many on the air and everyone's event able to proceed.
• VKJOTA is back online, please submit your JOTA logs if you used a club callsign.

Finance

• Bendigo Bank account balance as at 10th November 2023 is $7,792.34. Please note this does not include cheque for $195 that was banked on Monday.
• Busy month for Finance (as well as the rest of the team) with lots of money going in and out for JOTA related expenses.
• There were 2 invoices for the STEM team that were paid into our account and then transferred to the STEM account, these are detailed in the transaction report attached to the agenda.
• There are a few invoices still outstanding for badges and callsigns, if these are for your group can you please follow up. Reminders will be sent out this week.
• We are continuing to chase the outstanding Scout Hike invoices.
• The first payment of our loan from Scouts Victoria is due at the beginning of December.
• We are aiming to have our first GST claim completed by the end of the calendar year (for July 2023-December 2023). Once this is done we will have a better process established going forward to do regular claims, probably once a quarter. There is also a process of going through our historical financial records for previous financial years to claim that GST, though this will take time as our Xero environment was not setup to take a GST claim into account when first established.

Work Health & Safety (WHS)

• Please ensure you remain on top of eLearning modules including WHS as they become due.
• Scouts Victoria Child Safe Training is hoped to be completed by the end of 2023. For those with primary roles outside of Scout Radio Victoria, please follow this process within your primary registration roles. Scout Radio Victoria registrants should complete their training virtually or in person on courses advertised in Be Informed. Please make every effort to attend one of these sessions before the end fo the year.
