Amateur Radio Assessments are now managed by the Australian Maritime College. Recent changes to the ACMA / ACMA systems will not currently provide full assessment results or feed back to candidates.

After you are notified that you are successful results and callsign application is forwarded to the ACMA …The steps that occur in ACMA processing a licence are:
- After successful completion of an exam licence and call sign application arrive at ACMA
- ACMA process the documents and issue an invoice for the licence fee
- You have only 28 days to pay the ACMA invoice. – If not paid, ACMA archive the licence documentation and a ”consideration fee” of $28 applies (payable to ACMA) before the process starts again.
- ACMA would expect a new licence application along with the AMC call sign recommendation to be generated.
We must make sure candidates are aware of this process including the 28 day time allowance and also emphasise with candidates the accuracy of candidate addresses and emails is vital to ensure against lost mail.
It is also advisable that candidates to check their spam folders in case AMC or ACMA emails are inadvertently routed away from their inbox.
