Riddells Creek
We have talked about a SRV Team Skills weekend for years and it is finally happening on the weekend of the 17-19 July 2026 at the Treetops Scout camp, Riddells Creek. Cost for attendance is $25 and includes accommodation, morning and afternoon tea, tea and coffee, and Saturday roast dinner – breakfast and lunches are self-catered.
Your attendance could be for the whole weekend or part thereof. It will be great to see you there.
All members of Scouts Victoria are welcome to attend, but please note that the program is designed as a team skills weekend, and is not designed as an introduction to radio/foundation radio course. This does not prohibit non-licensed Scouting members attending, but cautions on the purpose of the weekend being on development of existing skills.
Bring a camp chair to sit around the fire or participate in activities.
This camp is an opportunity for you to share you knowledge and maybe learn something new.
In preparation for the Trans-Tasman Low-Band Contest on Saturday night from 1800 to 2359 you could experience setting up antennas for the radios, using the different radios (including the Units new IC-7300MK2) and participating in the contest.
